An Associate Canine Behavior Counselor (ACBC) has been board certified
through the Association
of Companion Animal Behavior Counselors.
Certification requires four things
- Graduated from an Approved Education Provider, which means that the
school has been reviewed by the board and is educating the students to
their standards.
- Went through a Mentorship period.
- Passed a practical test with a CBC indicating the the person can
actually practice the theory of learning principles.
- Must have 80 Continuing Education Units every three year to remain
certified.
