Is your dog making you crazy?

Does it exhibit any of these signs?

bulletBites people
bulletIs afraid of noises, objects or people
bulletDestroys your house while you are away
bulletIncessant barking
bulletGrowls and bites when you try and take objects from the dog
bulletJust won't listen

To have an Associate Canine Behavior Counselor come to your house and evaluate the best way to proceed to stop the unwanted behaviors, give us a call.

We work with these abnormal behaviors

bulletAggressions
bulletCompulsive Disorders
bulletFears and Phobias

In a number of cases there are genetic justification for the abnormal behavior and through the use of drug therapy and a behavior modification program, the dogs go onto live a normal happy life with their owners.  Drug therapy is always administered through a veterinarian.

Some behavior modification can be accomplished through one of our obedience training packages.  The Associate Canine Behavior Counselor can advise you on how to proceed.

  Success Story:

Subject: 3 year old Rottweiler who was brought in to center by owner as their dog, Julie, was no longer obeying them.

Discovery:  After a few lessons working with Julie, it was seen that she was exhibiting signs of possession and dominance aggression.    Julie would not relinquish toys and when you went to get them, she would growl at you and would get more violent with the object.

After 1 week of work with the use of a gentle leader and very tasty bologna, Julie was able to drop the toy on command and sit for a treat.

After 2 weeks of work, Julie would "leave" the toy on command and was able to down stay with the toy within reach and still not touch the toy.
